20%

of EAJA attorney fees received

For accepted referrals, I offer referring attorneys 20% of the EAJA attorney fees my firm actually receives in the referred matter.

Any fee division is subject to applicable professional conduct rules, a written agreement, and the client’s advance consent to the participating attorneys and fee-sharing terms. No referral payment is due unless qualifying EAJA attorney fees are received.

The referral payment comes from my firm’s EAJA attorney fees. It is not an additional charge to the veteran or a percentage deducted from the veteran’s disability benefits.

Your client. A shared commitment.

A referral begins with the trust you have built with your client. I welcome inquiries from attorneys seeking representation for a client before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

We’ll discuss the scope of representation, how we will communicate, and each attorney’s role before moving forward.

How the referral works

  1. Start with a brief inquiry.Share the case status and any known deadlines.
  2. Discuss whether the case is a fit. We’ll coordinate the information needed for further review.
  3. Put the terms in writing. If accepted, we’ll document the representation and referral arrangement and obtain the required client consent.
